A Gatsby Theme Party with United Bloggers Philippines!!!

This year, we celebrated United Bloggers Philippines Thanksgiving Party with a Gatsby Theme, wherein members are required to dress-up in an elegant and fabulous lifestyle manner. So, what makes this party more interesting, its because it was held in a well-known cafe house in Jupiter, Makati called Romulo Cafe last January 7, 2018. A vintage cafe restaurant that is built decades ago.

Indeed, the venue  is match with our theme with those old frame photographs of the owner hanging on the wall that foretells their family history & background during those centuries.  Its like going back in the past, the pictures are quite scary and I remember the same photos of my grand great parents in the province of Ilocos Sur, hanging on the sala and its like they silently looking at me. 


Anyway, all the members of United Bloggers Philippines are so fabulous. Each one of them brought laughter on the four corners of the restaurant. It was a fun afternoon filled with excitement and joy. Every one participated in the parlor games. We are  so thankful for Ms. Adae Ang, our Admin. for  United Bloggers Philippines for all her effort to provide us a wonderful venue and sponsors to make this event possible. Ofcourse, with our generous sponsors, we are grateful for all your support namely:

By the way, its my first time to wear a gatsby dress and I can't imagine I was able to carry it with confidence. I'm glad they like it, "nag-effort pa ako to change costume" and wear a costomized head dress. And, my good friend Ann Purificacion love it. Also, I was amazed by her costume, it was so beautiful, she nailed it and  she won as Best Gatsby Costume for Female Category and his Boyfriend Maiko, also won for her counterpart. The runway walk for each participant makes the afternoon more glamorous and filled with excitement. Each one of them shows sportmanship and they carry themselves magnificiently.


To sum it up, the party was a blasts. With our costume and camaraderie. This is one event, that I cannot forget.

Storm is swiftly passing in the shore. The currents has been disturbed with enormous wind. The huge waves is continuously sweeping the sand castle. As it slowly, break into tiny pieces and fastly dissolving. Replacing as bodies of water.  I love staring at the sunset. Watching the waves of waters rushing near the beach, as it melt down like ice. That creates a beautiful sound. Wherein, different shades of color are seen in the horizons before it closes another day. New sunrise will unfold. As I waited each morning. Visit a higher place, where you can find a relaxing view and drink some cold drinks. Listen with your favorite accoustic songs. Be lost for a minute and feel the rhythm of your heart. Enjoy and set your spirit free. Free from all the miseries, betrayal, disloyalty, dishonesty and lies that surrounds you.  Visiting this place, brings back good and sad memories. But, I'd rather write good stories rather than to dwell on my past memories. Let's say, this place let's you realized that honesty and friendship can break all the boundaries.
