Why do pamangkins (nieces/nephews) are more attached to their single Aunt and Uncle's more than their parents??? 

If your a Corporate Woman, or working in a BPO, a Nurse perhaps or in Gov't sector, if your "SINGLE". What makes you busy in weekends. The answer, is being with your "FAMILY". Am I right? If your not hanging out with your friends in a saturday night. I guess, your in the sala, watching and having a great time cuddling and hugging your cute niece/nephews. While, taking a bite with your fave pika-pika, And, our favorite snack is Kettle Corn. What's yours?


Those are typical bonding time of Pinoys. We are a Family oriented individuals. If your a single woman, you have lot's of time to visit your sister's house just to play around with your niece because it makes you more happier and ofcourse, "bawas stress" to your toxic boss and colleagues.



Those hours are precious. Those bonding moments with your huggable and lovable "pamangkins" is treasured in your heart forever. Every minutes counts seeing them laughing and gigling as you tickle them into the ground. Every duets and concerts made are real and memorable. Videoke until 10pm at night.

Oftentimes, it occupies a lot of your time, bathing and feeding them rather than meeting a good guy for a date. You even make a pass for a sweet and classic date if your niece is rush to the hospital or if she's sick. 

It happened to me all the time. She's more important than my Love life. Actually, I can hug her all day. Thats how much, I love AC, my pretty pamangkin. She gave me a lot of happiness.

So, Why do nieces/nephews more attached to their single Tita's and Tito's more than their parents? Or perhaps, why are they more closer to them. 

The answer, is because single aunt or uncle has more time to them. We cannot blame the parents, they have lots of responsibilities at the office even at home. Some parents has night shift work that the kid is left with her tita or grand parents.

But, ofcourse, they love their kid, that is why their working so hard to give them a good education and life. Time spent could be lesser but the love they gave is unconditional.


Furthermore, one thing that makes them closer to you, you became their First Aider, the World stops if you see tears on their faces or a wound on their knees. You treat them instantly to lessen the pain and trauma it cause them. You wipe out their tears and you hug them so tight and no more tears for cute little nieces/nephews.


And, now AC lives in Binan. I miss her everyday. But, she knows that her mama nhatz love her so much and I'm always praying for her. She will always be my one and only bhebeiko even if she grow up to be a fine woman.

Visit a higher place, where you can find a relaxing view and drink some cold drinks. Listen with your favorite accoustic songs. Be lost for a minute and feel the rhythm of your heart. Enjoy and set your spirit free. Free from all the miseries, betrayal, disloyalty, dishonesty and lies that surrounds you.  Visiting this place, brings back good and sad memories. But, I'd rather write good stories rather than to dwell on my past memories. Let's say, this place let's you realized that honesty and friendship can break all the boundaries.
