Christmas takes on three distinct personalities this season at SM City Grand Central, SM City Valenzuela, and SM Center Sangandaan , where holiday centerpieces transform their atriums into colorful worlds of light, fantasy, and play. Part of SM Supermalls’ “SM Magical Sparkle” Christmas campaign, the installations offer different interpretations of the season while sharing one idea: turning the traditional Christmas centerpiece into an experience. At SM City Grand Central, “Venetian Wonderland” brings the romance of Venice to Northern Metro Manila, drawing inspiration from the colorful island of Burano. A 34-foot, multi-tiered Christmas tree takes center stage, surrounded by pastel façades, a glowing canal, a Venetian gondola, and a festive gondolier elf. Brick arch bridges, warm street lamps, Christmas greenery, and market-inspired stalls complete the scene, creating the feel of a European Christmas market.
