Fertility is the ability to produce offspring. Yet, there are couples having a serious problem of concieiving a child. The truth is they need help and there is fertility treatment available in the Medical World. Hope and Acceptance are the key for effective Fertility Treatment.

Together with my boyfriend, we arrived at the event much earlier. So, we still have time to take the Fertility Questionaire and the results shows no indication that we will be needing a reproductive specialists. But, if we are planning to settle down and having a baby and there are possible symptons that prevents me on having one. I believe that I need to face the truth that I need to consult a specialist.


Nowadays, not all married couple are blessed to have a child right away. Like my sister & my brother-in-law, its been seven years, and still, they don't have a child on their own. I know there are a lot of factors like stress etc. that delays them to have one. According to Merck Philippines, Infertility affects developing countries like Philippines, it has 1:4 ratio that couples suffers from Infertility.


But, with this Fertility Awareness 2017 Lecture /Seminar organized by Merck Philippines. I was able to found out that there's still hope for couples whose having hard time of conceiving a baby. With new advancement of medical technology, we can achieved our goal to have a complete family on our own. 


Learning the Treatment Options lectured by Dr. Anthony Marc B. Ancheta

What is Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART)? 

It is the medical technology used to achieved pregnancy. It is usually used in infertility treatments. 

Here's the most affordable and efficient treatment options given by the Medical Practitioner during the lecture.

​Timed Intercourse – The most common of all method. It means having sex every other day around the time of ovulation stage. It is a natural approach and simple beginnings of the fertility journey of couples.

IntraUterine Insemination (IUI)- is a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman's uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization noted by americanpregnancy.com


Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) -Healthy-looking sperms  are carefully selected and will be injected medically and it will be directed into the egg with a needle. Once an embryo develops it is then transferred into the uterus through IVF.

The Windows of Fertility issues among Filipino couples are so strong due to our culture of being a family oriented citizen. However,  I strongly believe that prayers creates wonders into our lives. Like the Basilio Family, they never give up on their dreams to have a complete and happy family. Dennis and Maureen prayed for it. And yet, so many times, they tried to look for medical help. But, they never give up. And, God answered their prayers,now,they have their twins. Finally, they can call themselves, "parents". So, to all couples whose losing hope. Their testimony will inspired you to be more patient and trust in God & thru the advancement of science,anything is possible.
