SM Foundation College Scholarship Program opens


SM Foundation, the social good arm of the SM Group, has opened its college scholarship program, with applications running from February 1 to March 31, 2025.

The initiative aims to provide comprehensive educational support to qualified senior high school graduates nationwide.

Full tuition reimbursement, monthly stipends, and paid work possibilities within the SM Group during breaks between semesters are all included in the scholarship package. Public school graduates and qualified private school students who have completed Grade 10 at public schools and are DepEd voucher users may apply to the foundation for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The said program has produced more than 4,000 graduates since its inception in 1993, focusing on key academic disciplines, including Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, and Education at partner colleges and universities across the Philippines.

The foundation's college scholarship incorporates personal development, enrichment activities, and academic support. Scholars participate in workshops and team-building exercises designed to enhance their workplace readiness.

The SM College Scholarship Program continues the educational advocacy of the late SM Group founder, Henry Sy Sr., who established the scholarship with a strong belief in the power of education in uplifting communities.

The foundation opens part-time job opportunities to its scholars during vacation and breaks,
 as well as career opportunities within the SM Group after graduation

 

The SM Foundation provides avenues where scholars 
and alumni can connect and establish a strong network of support.
